Every Wednesday Wind Jet will fly from Rimini to Samara.

Every Wednesday from the first of June to the end of September 2011 Wind Jet will fly from Rimini to Samara.

The flight, that connects with Catania, will carry out with aircraft Airbus A320 o A319.

Samara is the thirteenth destination in Rimini airport ( the eleventh international), and it’s the third russian destination after Moscow and Saint Peterburg, the maximum allowed by the agreement between the two countries. It is the fourth year that Wind Jet offers Samar as destination ( in the past the flight departed from Forlì).

Next summer Wind Jet will set out in all seventeen departures every week towards Russia.

Samara is a big town (approximately 1.200.000 inhabitants), located around 900 km in the South-East of Moscow. It is placed on the banks of River Volga, in the point where the river draws a large bend around Zhiguli mountain. The position is so stunning that it’s became a tourist destination for Russian people. Samara is an important railways and roads junction, infect from there you can join a lot of russian destination. It has six train stations, an international airport ( Kurumoch) and a big riverport. It is an area with an high presence of mechanical, cars production and airforce industries. There are also several factories specialized in the aerospace and missilery sector.
