The Safety Management System guarantees that all the operations are managed respecting the security procedures and at the same time evaluates the efficiency of the system in order to correct possible inefficiencies.

Aeradria S.p.A has always considered the maintenance and the improvement of safety standards within the airport as a priority for the development of all the other activities.

Aeradria S.p.a has implemented the establishment of the safety management system respecting the standards defined by Enac.

On April 2009 has been created the safety board, which aims to focus the management’s attention on security issues, in order to evaluate the actions which need to be developed within the sector.

The members of the safety board are:

Accountable Manager (M. Masini)

Safety Manager (V. Scozzari)

Post holder responsible for the movement area and terminal (R. Tassinari)

Post holder responsible for planning and maintenance of infrastructures and systems (V. Murgia)

The safety management system aims to:

Develop, implement, examine the safety management system;

Promote the instruments of Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Management;

Manage the Reporting System to record, document, and evaluate risky situations as well as accidents and others inconveniences;

Diffuse in all the company sectors the recommendations which appear from the processing of reports, statistics and investigation of accidents;

Train the safety staff;

Manage and control the documentation regarding the safety management system;
